Finally Oxlade-Chamberlain was called on to start a Premier League game after his excellent November and he didn’t disappoint. The former Arsenal man was dynamic and could have grabbed a goal, although his influence did wax and wane a little. Henderson was asked to replace Fabinho in the defensive midfield role, a position he prefers not to play, but he performed with his usual passion and professionalism. His work rate after the Reds went down to 10 was incredible, although he failed to control the game like Fab can.
