Finally Oxlade-Chamberlain was called on to start a Premier League game after his excellent November and he didn’t disappoint. The former Arsenal man was dynamic and could have grabbed a goal, although his influence did wax and wane a little. Still, Oxlade-Chamberlain played the best out of the three and was unlucky to be substituted after Alisson saw red.. Midfielder. Liverpool. ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN. 6.75

Midfielder. Liverpool. JORDAN HENDERSON. 6.25. Henderson was asked to replace Fabinho in the defensive midfield role, a position he prefers not to play, but he performed with his usual passion and professionalism. His work rate after the Reds went down to 10 was incredible, although he failed to control the game like Fab can.

GINI WIJNALDUM. 6.25. Klopp spoke before the game of needing the steel of Milner in this game as the Italians have had the better of the Reds in midfield over the last two seasons though he failed to help the Reds dominate the middle of the park. Whipped in a brilliant corner for Lovren to head in the equalizer. Came off for Trent Alexander-Arnold as Klopp looked to bring on fresh legs.. Defender. Liverpool
