Marco Silva is a dead man walking

This bloke is a dead man walking. With games against Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Leicester and Arsenal coming up, the manager is basically keeping the seat warm so the next gaffer in has an easier start to life with Everton.

After all this time, the Toffies still don’t have an identity and we still don’t know how they’re going to set up on Wednesday night. They are going nowhere fast and his time at Goodison Park is surely all but over.

The players will be sensing this as well but they’re not in the position to change things. Everton have only won twice in a row once this campaign and half of that was against Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup. Since then, Silva has overseen seven losses in 12 games and has built a side that struggles or score or keep them out.

Apparently the Goodison hierarchy already has plans in place to replace Silva with club legend Duncan Ferguson while they seek a permanent replacement. The vultures are circling and it isn’t pretty, but it’s yet another reasons why we’ll batter the Blues when they come to Anfield.
