Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah

As below, so above. The entire Liverpool front three, maybe with the exception of Mohamed Salah, could probably do with a rest but that’s never going to happen when Everton are up next.

Roberto Firmino is looking jaded and is down on his best form, but even without those goals and assists the quality he brings to the side lets Liverpool play like nobody else in the league. Divock Origi could come into the side but it’s a different way of playing when the Belgian is on and that’s not the way the Reds want to go about things.

Salah has been suffering with his dodgy ankle but seems to be over the hill with that one. Although he wasn’t as good as normal against Brighton, things should be looking up for the Egyptian and he’ll want to keep playing to get some rhythm back.

Sadio Mane is probably the most important attacker in the side now and his return of eight goals from 14 games highlights that. His pace, movement, finishing and mentality has improved immeasurably since he joined Anfield and Mane starts every time he is fit to do so.

If you’re the Everton defence, the last team you want to play just three days after losing to Leicester is Liverpool. Unlucky.
