Eddie Howe cannot outsmart Liverpool

Eddie Howe is a very good manager and he’s done an excellent job with Bournemouth, but for the life of him he cannot get a result against us and continues to get smashed by Klopp whenever the two meet.

Once upon a time Howe would be the type of up-and-coming British manager that Liverpool might chase, but Klopp has transformed the club and FSG would chase a world-class manager if the German ever leaves Anfield. Howe is yet to reach that level and his record proves it.

In the last five games, Liverpool have beaten the Cherries 4-0, 3-0, 4-0, 3-0 and 3-0 on Saturday. That’s an incredible return of 17 goals and non-conceded across the last five Premier League fixtures in a run of form stretching back to December 2017.

It doesn’t matter how much Bournemouth spend on ex-Liverpool players, they still can’t use them against their former club to pick up any points. We are truly their bogey team and have now consigned them to five defeats in a row.

After picking up a few injuries, Howe is looking down the barrel a little bit and will need his squad to recover from their problems if they are to avoid being sucked into a huge battle against the drop.
