Nobody ever panics

We’re well aware that Klopp calls these boys the Mentality Monsters but that also brings a tremendous confidence and these lads never panic. Not even when they’re being pressed and they’re close to goal and one mistake could mean instant punishment.

This threat runs through the whole side as ice cold composure is the king. It starts with Alisson in goal and extends through the spine of the side and into Henderson, Keita, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Oxlade-Chamberlain. Everyone. The whole squad.

James Milner, whose first touch was to score the penalty that finished things off, showed that in droves. He was composed and confident and he never, ever missed does he as Milner clipped it down the middle.

Leicester tried to press the Reds into a mistake but this side is too well drilled and too sure of what they are doing to make a mistake. Pulses were raised a few times when Alisson played it out from the back, but sure enough it worked.

The Foxes tried to mob our midfield but a neat touch her and a swift turn there brought them out of trouble and attacking their goal. It’s a beautiful thing to watch and you can’t help but dream of bigger achievements when you see it.
