Liverpool beat Sheffield United thanks to some excellent work from their forward line. Click here to read about five things we learned during the win.

Mohamed Salah scored one and assisted the other as Sadio Mane made it two after half time and the Reds eased to their first win of 2020.

If they win their next game it’ll be the best Premier League start of any team in history as Liverpool made the most passes of any side in any game during this era of football. They have been amazing this campaign and are surely walking towards a title.

Jurgen Klopp was all smiles as he clapped the stadium and why wouldn’t you be? The side have now gome an entire calendar year without losing and that’s amazing in itself. An unbeaten campaign is certainly within reach.

Sheffield surrendered huge swaths of the pitch to the home side and never looked likely to score – their one major effort was miles offside and was rightly ruled out – while the Reds were clinical in attack as Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane finished off pleasing attacks.
