Midfield

Midfielder. Liverpool. PEDRO CHIRIVELLA. 6.75. The Spaniard might not play much but that seems to have made him hungrier as he wasn’t afraid to stick his boot in. Was caught out in possession a few times and looked rusty, which he was. Made one excellent recover tackle on Richarlison as the Brazilian shaped to shoot and was in charge of keeping play ticking. There were a few wayward passes, but all in all Chirivella put in a promising performance.

ADAM LALLANA. 7. As the most experienced member of the side when Milner went off, Lallana assumed the leadership role and it suited him well. We all know his ability and the former Southampton man showed his excellent range of passing and vision. He was also bright moving forward as Lallana blazed over with a long shot before nearly bursting through into the box, something he looked to do a lot more after the break.. Midfielder. Liverpool

TAKUMI MINAMINO. 6. <p class=. Midfielder. Liverpool
