7. Hardly touched it in the opening half and spent most of his time trying to help out Larouci against the pace of Walcott and the attacking instincts of Seamus Coleman. When he did get on the ball, Jones showed excellent confidence and technique as well as game intelligence. Saved the best for last with his goal, which was a thing of beauty. From a standing start, Jones whipped it straight into the top corner of the goal with pace, swerve and dip.. Forward. Liverpool. CURTIS JONES

Liverpool. DIVOCK ORIGI. 7. Origi struggled to get into the game as Liverpool attacks focused down the flanks and were restricted to long-shots.  Had one excellent, wriggling run and only a wonderful save from Jordan Pickford kept scores level – although replays indicated Origi was marginally offside. Grew into the game is it progressed and showed a few examples of clean feet and fancy footwork.. Forward
