This weekend, we have some pretty exciting matches to look forward to but the most anticipated one of them all will undoubtedly be Liverpool vs Manchester United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ‘s side has been the only team so far who has avoided defeat against the Reds in the Premier League so far, holding them to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

They will be eager to be the first team to not only beat Liverpool in the league this season but also defeat them at Anfield for the first time since April 2017.

However, Liverpool have been in a magnificent run of form and have clearly forgotten how to lose matches. Jurgen Klopp’s side seem heavy favorites to win today and if they do so, they will have a 16-point lead at the top of the Premier League table with a game in hand,

Now, let’s take a look at how the Reds could line up against their arch-rivals this weekend and don’t forget to give your thoughts in the comment section.

Alisson

As usual, the Brazilian will stay between the posts with Adrian on the bench. Alisson currently has six clean sheets in the Premier League, two behind Ben Foster, Kasper Schmeichel and Dean Henderson who lead the race for the Golden Glove. He will be keen on keeping another clean sheet today which would make it seven in succession for him.

There’s a good chance Alisson won’t be up against Marcus Rashford today but the likes of Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood are capable of troubling him just as much. Hence, the 27-year-old won’t have it easy and will be needed to be at his best if the Man United attackers are to be kept at bay.
