He’s been fine over the last few outings. Not outstanding, not great. But fine. And that’s OK. He still put four shots towards <a rel=. . . Sadio Mané. 6

I know LiVARpool is a thing, but that Roberto Firmino goal in the first half should have stood. It’s a fair challenge by Van Dijk to get the ball. It’s De Gea’s responsibility to claim it, and he didn’t. Either way, Firmino was excellent up top for Liverpool with three shots, three key passes, six dribbles, a 71 percent passer rating. As the season hit’s the halfway point, Firmino has been in super-star form. If Liverpool win the title, it’s going to be on his back.. . . Roberto Firmino. 8

9. Man-of-the-Match. There’s no doubt about it. You could make the case for Virgil van Dijk to be the man of the match, but Salah was effective at both ends of the pitch. Defensively he had two tackles, three interceptions, and a clearance. Up the other end of the pitch he put in four shots towards goal (one on target), he had that one goal that decided the game, three key passes, one dribble, and an 80 percent passer rating. He was near perfect. If not for a yellow card he gets a 10/10. Again, he was clearly the man of the match against Manchester United.. . . Mohameh Salah
