Andy Robertson vs Adama Traoré

Adama Traoré has been a late bloomer but is now taking the Premier League by storm with his pace, which has always been there, strength and increased ability to deliver the killer blow.

Wolves have got a unique threat with the former Barcelona, Middlesbrough and Aston Villa man and Andy Robertson will be faced with an interesting dilemma on Thursday. He may have to curb his attacking instincts in order to avoid being caught on the break by Traoré, who will spring forward at any opportunity.

With four goals and six assists, the Spaniard has become one the key players in the Wolves forward line and he’s fresh off the back of an excellent performance against Southampton and will be ready to cause havoc again.

Robertson is strong and quick but he’s also vital to how Liverpool get forward and start attacks. Klopp may well have to instruct his left-sided midfielder to remain central and cover for Robbo when he ventures forward, or double up on the inspired Traoré.

If Liverpool can do a job and shut down Wolves’ star man, then they will start to nullify two important ways that Santo likes to build his attack. Keep Jiménez and Traoré quiet and we will keep another clean sheet.
