Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson

There is only one change which could be possible in the Liverpool backline and that is Joel Matip coming in place of Joe Gomez. The former was in fine form before getting injured but the latter has made the most out of it by producing some solid performances at the back.

There’s no denying Virgil van Dijk makes any defender look god but Gomez deserves some credit for his displays and he will partner the Dutchman against Wolves. That said, it won’t be much of a surprise if Klopp goes with Matip instead of the 22-year-old.

Elswhere, Van Dijk is a certainty and  will be eager to prevent the likes of Jimenez and Traore from being much of an attacking threat alongside Gomez. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson start in their usual full-back positions and as in any game, will be eager to be solid defensively and offensively.
