Midfield

Gini was a workhorse in the middle of the park for Liverpool and its why Klopp keeps him in the starting eleven. His work rate is inspiring. Unfortunately, that work didn’t necessarily materialize on the stat sheet outside of a 93.2 percent passer rating.. . . Georginio Wijnaldum. 5

Jordan Henderson. 8. Yet another win, yet another killer performance from the captain. Henderson held a team-high 94.2 percent passer rating, two key passes, six accurate long balls from ten long ball deliveries, he put in three tackles, made two interceptions, and made one clearance. He was everywhere and instrumental in everything as he pulled the strings from the middle of the park. Again.. .

. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. 10. What a goal from Oxlade-Chamberlain. After receiving a perfect pass from Mohamed Salah, Chamberlain bullied his way past Manuel Lanzini like the West Ham midfielder wasn’t even there before sliding it through Lukasz Fabianski. Add another shot towards net, three dribbles, a key pass, one tackle, and two interceptions it’s clear that Oxlade-Chamberlain is in top shape and forcing Klopp to keep Fabinho out of the starting eleven.. Man of the Match

Subs

. Curtis Jones. -. He was brought on in the 85th minute for the man of the match Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. He didn’t have much time to work with. But he still held an 85.7 percent passer rating, made two tackles and had an interception to help maintain a clean sheet..
