Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are at danger if a big money transfer move goes through – according to latest reports.

That’s because there is no room for any blockbuster forward purchases with those two in the side, so if Kylian Mbappe 2020 is going to happen, one of those two is in danger of being shipped off to pastures new.

Jadon Sancho, too, isn’t going to recruited without one of Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah leaving Anfield – says Melissa Reddy. Jurgen Klopp loves those two and so do we, but all great squads have to be refreshed at some point.

If Sancho is available, and he is, should we be having the conversation in regards two our inside forward’s future?

Mbappe and the England international would cost too much, are in such demand, that they would have to come into the squad and play a vital first team role from the first whistle. As it stands now, there is no guarantee that they would.

Liverpool are all set to win the Premier League, we’ve made the Champions League final two years in a row and there’s no reason why Jurgen Klopp won’t make it three. Is it time for a little squad rejuvenation?

A lot of the squad has been on the same journey with Klopp, and if history is going to keep repeating itself then there will need to be some new stars brought in during the next couple of years to keep the hunger burning.

But on the other hand, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are so important to how Liverpool play, and they’re so good, that any manager would be mad to sell them. The reactions on Merseyside wouldn’t be positive, either.

That’s the unfortunate position Klopp is in right now. Does he stick and miss the chance to sign world-class talent, or twist and let his existing world-class talent leave in the name of squad rejuvenation?
