Liverpool FC are the new Beatles as Kloppmania has reached new heights as the football team replaces the band as the most well known thing in Merseyside.

Forgot those four with their floppy hair and their LSD trips, there’s a new sheriff and town and it’s lead by charismatic German Jurgen Klopp and his pearly whites.

Hysteria has reached new levels whenever the Reds come to town and this has been illustrated by Football Manager head honcho Miles Jacobson, who put out a tweet begging people to stop asking him for a ticket to the Liverpool vs Watford game.

And who can blame them really? This is a chance to see one of the Premier League’s greatest ever teams in action. I’d be going through my little black book with a fine tooth comb if I thought it would help me secure a seat to the action.

But just like when the Beatles would roll up, there will be disappointed supporters who simply can’t get in. According to Miles, there are at least 50 who wanted to use him as a source. Don’t you just love it.

The best thing is, you can pretty much guarantee they won’t be Watford fans. They’ll just be trying to rinse the Hornets’ sponsor for everything they’re worth for a chance to see Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane cause chaos.

Because this two week break should bring the boys back fresh and ready to resume their record breaking 2019/2020. Mane will recover from his niggle, hopefully Xherdan Shaqiri will be back and the extra few weeks will give Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren just a little more time to reach peak fitness.

Next. Three players who had an incredible January. dark

Watford could be in for an absolute reckoning by the city of Liverpool’s biggest export and there will be people queuing up for the privilege of watching their side torn apart.
