Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino is so good that Arsenal accounts are tweeting praise about him.

The Reds star has been attracting praise from all parts for his all round game – not just his goalscoring record – including fans of other Premier League clubs.

Back in September Jose Mourinho was reported as saying he couldn’t ‘find the words’ to describe how good the former Hoffenheim man was, while Arsene Wenger complimented the Brazilian and said he was the final piece of the Liverpol jagsaw.

With eight goals and seven assists from 25 league games, Roberto Firmino may not have the raw stats to suggest he’s a world class player but what he does boils down to so much more than numbers on a website.

You could take Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah out of the team and we’d play pretty much the same way. Take Firmino out and everything changes as Liverpool become a shadow of their former shelves.

In fact, he’s so good that Bayern Munich want to put in a £75 million bid in the summer – said the Guardian.

How Arsenal could do with a man like Firmino, who will do the hard work to bring everyone else into the side. With their electric wide forwards, they need someone like Bobby who will drop back and create space for them to run into.

Every squad could do with a man like that – which is why Bayern are ready to put in such a massive offer for a player without an excellent scoring record.

But a word of warning, playing Roberto Firmino would require them to change their style. He won’t hit 20 goals a season but he will get double figures for goals and assists as well as enable others around to do the same.

After playing so much football for so long, this winter break will have done him the world of good. Get excited for the Norwich game as we prepare to watch the man at his best.
