After a nervy affair Liverpool takes all three points to keep their win streak going as they march towards a Premier League title continues.

It was an uncharacteristic sloppy day from Liverpool at Anfield against a team in the relegation zone. If not for Trent Alexander-Arnold delivering from the right side (and a few Lukas Fabianski screw-ups) Liverpool likely take their first loss of the season.

At this point of the season, Liverpool shouldn’t be losing to West Ham. With all due respect to the Hammers and their fans, David Moyes men are where they are for a reason.

Thankfully, with some strong resolve and some quality (and a bit of luck), Liverpool was able to find a way to collect all three points from West Ham.

Note: Some of these grades might seem harsh. But everyone has a bad day at the office now and then, and that was the case for some of Liverpool’s players today.

Keeper

Last night was not Alisson’s night. Typically, the Brazilian keeper is a wall at the back for Liverpool. That was not the case last night. Alisson came up short on West Ham’s first goal. He was in the right spot, but couldn’t get a hand to Issa Diop’s header. Then in the second half, he couldn’t get to Pablo Fornal’s effort that found the far back corner. With four shots on goal, Alisson wasn’t busy but when he needed to be sharp he dropped the ball.
