Liverpool take on Chelsea in the fifth round of the FA Cup and James Milner is predicted to make a triumphant return.

Jurgen Klopp confirmed that the veteran would be available for the Blues game on Tuesday night and I think he’ll be thrown straight back into the team.

He would have surely played a much bigger role in the side after Jordan Henderson was ruled out with a hamstring injury, but James Milner picked up his own niggle and that has kept him out the team.

After missing out on the Watford loss, Joe Gomez is also good to go – but will he play? Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip still need minutes, and there’s no way Neco Williams will want to give up his position in the FA Cup team.

Harvey Elliott won’t be available for the game after he was selected for the Europa Youth League game and that will open up a place in the side for one of the marginalised senior players. It’ll be interesting to see who Klopp chooses in place of Elliott.

We know Adrian will be given the chance to get another 90 minutes under his belt, so let’s kick things off with the Spaniard.

Adrian

He’s the back-up stopper, and the former West Ham man has done enough to earn the gloves for a big night at Stamford Bridge. Unless Alisson picks up another injury, that’s all Adrian will be for the rest of his Liverpool career but that’s okay.

90 minutes here will also help to keep Adrian sharp in case he’s required for a Premier League or Champions League game.
