Loris Karius has been handed a Liverpool lifeline

Liverpool loan goalkeeper Loris Karius has been handed an Anfield lifeline after the events of the past few weeks.

The German is nearly at the end of his two-year loan spell with Besiktas, but the Super Lig side won’t be extending the terms of his agreement at the end of the season.

Turkish Football reported that Karius will be send back to Liverpool in the summer after making 66 appearances and keeping 13 clean sheets.

Adrian has opened the door for the 26-year-old to still have a squad role to play after the Spaniard made crucial errors in the FA Cup loss to Chelsea and the Champions League exit against Atletico Madrid.
