Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has asked the club to sanction a massive move for a £130 million rated player.

The Express has reported that the German has asked those at the top of the club to fund a huge offer for a Barcelona star.

According to reports, Klopp has his eye on an attacking reinforcement that is hoped will boost the quality of the squad and his options throughout 2020/2021.

Apparently, Liverpool will drum up £80 million to buy curious starlet Ousmane Dembele. Klopp may have the inside scoop from when he was cutting his teeth with Borussia Dortmund before moving to Barca for £130 million – what does he know that we don’t?

More was expected of the forward, who has played just 51 times in La Liga for the Catalan giants. It’s clear that those at the top of the club are looking to cut their ties with the 22-year-old, who has never really threatened to do much since getting that move.

In 50 games for Dortmund, Ousmane Dembele scored 10 goals and registered 22 assists and has gone on to make 79 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions. 19 goals and 17 assists isn’t a bad return, but his whole career in Spain has been beset by troubles and it wouldn’t surprise me if he left whenever the transfer window opens next.

We’ve seen plenty of articles linking Liverpool with attacking reinforcements. Timo Werner has been extensively reported as interesting the Reds, while they’ve surely cast an eye over Jadon Sancho and Bundesliga starlet Kai Havertz.

Ousamne Dembele has picked up a lot of hamstring and muscle injuries over the course of his Barcelona career and that would be a massive problem for anyone looking at buying the player. Whether his body is wrecked of there’s something wrong with the treatment he’s getting, that injury record is a major problem.
