One dream target to sign from every Premier League club
Newcastle United
Newcastle United have got a few flair players who have done well for them. Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin are quick and pacey but lack end product and that’s why they wouldn’t be a good fit for Klopp.
However, Jamaal Lascelles might be the perfect fit. Klopp has already scouted Lascelles, who is a leader and a capable defender in a poor team.
Lascelles has been a part of Newcastle for so long that his ability is often overlooked – mainly because they are always fighting against relegation – but he could still provide a sensible fourth choice option if Lovren leaves at the end of the campaign.
At 26, the defender has got his best years ahead of him and has captained the Geordies whenever he’s been fit this season. Another leader in the squad is never a bad thing, plus he’s played 160 times for Newcastle and over 100 times in the Premier League.
And you just know that Toon owner Mike Ashley would sell up if the price was right, too, and so Michael Edwards probably wouldn’t need to reach too far down into his pocket in order to fund the move.
