He might have only just signed for Sheffield United, but Sander Berge would be the man I’d put in the Liverpool side.

Chris Wilder has got his side punching above their weight and their defenders are certainly doing something interesting – but would they get in this side? Doubtful.

But Berge will go on to do big things.

The big Norwegian international has got several characteristics similar to Fabinho. He’s just signed for the Blades for £19.35 million and immediately played a part in every Premier League game since.

He’s a big unit, he tackles well, he shields the defence and he runs and runs and runs.

Berge would be an excellent back-up for Fabinho, or the man to put more pressure on the Brazilian as we don’t really have anyone in the team who can do that. Henderson can, be that’s not really his natural position, as can Milner, but again that’s not really his natural position.

It is Berge’s naturally position.
