Tottenham

Ah man, there’s only one player from Tottenham Hotspur we’d have at Liverpool. There’s no point beating around the bush about it. It’s Harry Kane.

Imagine a front four of Firmino, Mane, Salah and Kane roaming about the Premier League causing chaos. Teams wouldn’t know what hit them!  And after years and years under Mauricio Pochettino, he’s used to running hard, pressing hard and has an excellent track record.

To get all four in the side at once, and they would need to be in the side at once, Firmino would have to drop down to no. 10 and Klopp would need to do a bit of creative accounting in order to facilitate that.

He has fiddled about with a 4-2-3-1 formation in the past, but the central midfield partnership doesn’t work out just as well. However, a functional pivot of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson could be the way forward.

But in order to work Kane into the side, any changes he’d have to make would be well worth it. I’d take an attack featuring those four and a slightly less solid midfield over the potential scenes in attack.
