Allows us to make money

This move could actually allow Liverpool to make some money in the short-term. Willian would arrive without a transfer fee, and even with a healthy signing on fee and bonuses, this would free up some space in the squad for Klopp to make some good sales.

Xherdan Shaqiri would be allowed to move, and so would Harry Wilson. Both forwards operate on the right – where the Brazilian mainly plays – and are due some more first team football.

Teams would be interested in Shaqiri and Wilson, who are good players but are never going to get a decent look in at Liverpool. Wilson needs to move on after spending the last two-and-a-half seasons away on loan with Hull City, Derby County and Bournemouth.

After proving his ability in the Premier League, the Wales international’s value will increase. His homegrown status will also help grease the financial wheels.

Shaqiri is injury prone but Liverpool are still set to make a profit on the £13 million signing as they’ve set a £25.5 million price tag. One player in could allow us to bring in two good transfer fees as well as get rid of those wages.
