Liverpool have been linked with Rennes wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga, but who is the player? Here are three things to know about him.

Despite being just 17-years-old, the midfielder has been a key part of this Ligue 1 side and that has led to some excitement, including from Liverpool.

Eduardo Camavinga has said that he’s not super keen to leave France, which is probably wise given his young age and his further potential to improve at his current club.

He’s played the fifth most minutes out of anyone in the squad and has already clocked over 2,000 for the campaign. Only goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, right-back Hamari Traoré, central defender Damien Da Silva and M’Baye Niang have more than the starlet’s 2,112.

France have decided to cancel Ligue 1 and so those stats will be the final tally until 2020/2021 restarts, whenever that is, but who knows where Camavinga will be playing then?

Rennes will undoubtedly try their best to hold on to the starlet, who plays a vital role for them at the base of midfield.

So with that, click through the slides below to read three things you should know about the 17-year-old and make your own mind up about whether Liverpool should make a move for him or not.
