Liverpool signed Erling Haaland and this is what happened
Liverpool have ‘signed’ wonderkid Erling Haaland on Football Manager.
In this version of the game, the Norwegian hadn’t moved to Borussia Dortmund yet and was plying his trade for Salzburg.
So it took a bid of around £23 million to bring Erling Haaland to Liverpool after the 2019/2020 campaign.
The striker has got incredible potential for improvement and after three seasons he’s feared across the world. Haaland quickly established himself as one of the best in the Premier League, after spending his first campaign learning the trade from Divock Origi and Roberto Firmino.
10 goals in 17 appearances showed plenty of potential though.
Then he set the world on fire and has never looked back.
70 league goals in 88 appearances tell its own story. There was 23 in his first full campaign, 28 in the second and then got his third full season under way with nine in eight games.
And his states are incredible too, at just 23-years-old. Haaland might still have room to improve and that’s a scary thought.
With 14 dribbling, 17 finishing, 15 first touch and 16 heading he’s a complete forward who can do it all. Haaland is also a stone-cold penalty taker and doesn’t miss a single shot.
It’s really his mental and physical stats that seperate him from the best. He’s an unreal athlete, 17 balance, 17 jumping reach, 16 natural fitness, 17 pace and 17 for strength mark him out as someone who can out-muscle the best.
High marks for bravery, composure, concentration, determination and off the ball show that this is a man who is hard to pick up and who doesn’t miss chances often.
All in the meantime, he’s lead Liverpool to complete European and domestic glory. The cup competitions may have passed this side by, but three Champions Leagues and three Premier League wins in a row show Haaland as a truely global player.
Just imagine if this could manifest itself in real life.
