Liverpool all-star Naby Keita has made an exciting claim.

The Guinea international is back with a bang after the enforced break from the Premier League and impressed during the friendly win against Blackburn Rovers.

When Liverpool signed Naby Keita they thought they were getting an incredible asset. The former RB Leipzig man was strong on the ball, dynamic and could create as well as score goals.

We’ve let to see the best of him.

Throughout the midfielder’s time at Liverpool, his form has been patchy. Promising moments have yielded to frustrating periods as injury and a lack of confidence have robbed Keita of momentum.

Could that change?

It certainly seems like it might. His performance in the intra-squad game was highly encouraging and then he did the following against Rovers.

Can we go as far to say it was a complete performance? Such a statement might be a bit of a stretch, but it was as complete a performance that Keita could give in the situation.

This is his claim. These moments are there for the midfielder to stick his hand up and be counted, especially as there will be first team opportunities up for grabs.

The Premier League restart will be tough on the legs and a higher rate of injuries is predicted. More rotation will be inevitable, which means more chance for Keita to impress Klopp.

If he can continue in this fashion – by making these type of all action performances – than he’ll have put his best foot forwards in the most impressive of ways.
