Liverpool play Everton on Sunday. Here are five key players to watch!

Liverpool won’t win the Premier League at Goodison Park – that dream was ended by Manchester City running over Arsenal on Wednesday.

That game made us appreciate what we have with Dejan Lovren and exposed City goalkeeper Ederson as slightly unhinged.

We’ll need just two wins to be crowned top flight champions, and that will start with three points against the Toffies.

Liverpool have prepared well for the return of the Premier League and should have no injury worries going into the fixture. Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson were kept out of the side for the friendly against Blackburn Rovers, but the pair are still in contention to start on the weekend.

If Salah and Robertson miss the game, Reds fans will still be confident of getting a win. After the 5-2 victory in December and the 1-0 FA Cup win, there’s plenty of recent evidence to suggest an under-strength Liverpool are more than a match for Everton.

Curtis Jones made his mark in the cup game, and with the amount of substitutes allowed extended to five, he’ll be confident of doing the same this Sunday.

Everton have some fine players too, and their forward line was in fine form before the suspension of the league. So with that in mind, here are five key players to watch as Liverpool take on Everton.
