Harvey Elliott

Liverpool starlet Harvey Elliott is thought of in glowing terms by management and this could be his time to shine.

The former Fulham prodigy has been highly rated from a young age, and has already made seven senior appearances. Elliott coming into the team would be a straight swap for Salah, and could signal an eventual changing of the guard.

Elliott is a natural right-sided forward, so the team wouldn’t lose anything in that regard. But it would be a massive call by Klopp to select the 17-year-old in such a massive Premier League game.

A lack of fans could work to his advantage and it would allow the manager the chance to select younger players without exposing them to a feral atmosphere that could work against them.

But then again, knowing what we know about Elliott, that feral atmosphere could drive him on to do bigger and better things.

Every time this player is thrown into a sink-or-swim environment, he tends to come up smelling of roses. That bodes well for the exciting youngster, who could make his mark in one of the biggest games of the season.
