‘We need him!’ Fans beg Liverpool to sign Arsenal star
Liverpool fans are begging the club to sign an Arsenal star.
The season hasn’t kicked back off for Jurgen Klopp, but the Gunners have already lost both their games. Liverpool take on Everton as they’ll seek to move three points closer to the Premier League title.
Arsenal lost 3-0 to Manchester City before falling to a shock 2-1 defeat to Brighton as Neal Maupay grabbed a last-minute winner to send Graham Potter’s men into a frenzy of celebration.
Nicolas Pepe grabbed the first for Mikel Arteta but then Lewis Dunk equalized and Maupay rubbed salt into the wounds.
Liverpool have been tipped to have a quiet transfer window, even if the amount of players linked with a move to Anfield keeps on increasing, but even so some fans have begged sporting director Michael Edwards to make a move for one Arsenal man.
Andy Robertson has been in fine form but he does need someone to pick up the slack when he’s not available. Bukayo Saka could be that man.
Saka registered an assist for Pepe as he played in midfield, but he’s spent a decent amount of time playing as left-back and this is a starlet who could operate in defence and further forward.

The 18-year-old has made 31 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners, scoring three goals and registering nine assists. He has four from 20 Premier League appearances, but Bukayo Saka has flourished in the Europa League.
As part of Europe’s second string competition, the youngster assisted five and scored twice in six appearances. He’s definitely got the attacking qualities to play at left-back for Jurgen Klopp, although learning how to defend and play in this system may require some more learning.
In terms of the Academy, Yasser Larouci makes the most convincing case to be including in the first team squad – although he’s got some way to go before he makes the grade.
It’ll be interesting to see if Klopp gives the youngster a chance to show what he’s got once the Premier League is wrapped up.
