Once again, there’s little reason for Klopp to mess around with this tried and tested formula. Sadio Mane, Firmino and Salah are the best front three in the league and there’s no reason to change that.

To be honest, there aren’t a lot of options. We could see Takumi Minamino through the middle or on the right, but the Japanese international looks a little off the pace and it’s clear he’d rather operate centrally.

Divock Origi, Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones are also waiting in the wings for their chance to shine, even if it’s a little early to try and bring Elliott and Jones into thing.

Origi has disappointed throughout this season and it doesn’t seem like he’s near the team. Minamino has been given the nod ahead of the Belgian and it’ll probably stay that way.

City can now count on Aymeric Laporte but Fernandinho has still been popping up in defence, which means that there’ll be a weakness Firmino and his mates can exploit. With full-backs who still aren’t very good, Liverpool can get at them down the flanks as well.

It’s going to be an interesting game to watch. Will we see Klopp’s men drop in intensity, or are they going to keep going?
