Naby Keita

The Guinean midfielder has always looked to spark energy into Liverpool’s midfield, and last night was no different.

Although the Reds looked despondent in most cases lat night, the 25 year-old looked bright and at his usual perky level. He was given a start against Everton and proved to be one of the better players, even if he was hauled off before the end.

But then Klopp decided to leave the former RB Leipzig man out for the Crystal Palace game, although his introduction on Thursday did provide some spark and forward momentum.

If he can continue picking up minutes towards the end of the season and start the next one injury free and full of momentum, this could be a real game changer for the midfielder.

After how sloppy the engine room was on Thursday, Klopp could be tempted to make some changes. The short turn around time might compel him to, and Naby Keita really put his best foot forward for inclusion.
