This is the Liverpool predicted team for the Brighton game.

We travel to the south coast in search of a sixth consecutive Premier League win against the Seagulls since they returned to the top flight, but Graham Potter’s men have proven a threat against the bigger sides this season and will look to be once again.

They came closer than many at Anfield this season too – with Alisson being sent off for a handball outside the penalty area.

Dunk scored from the resulting free kick, but Adrian and co held on for victory devoted to rearguard action.

The Reds come into this one after eventually dismantling Aston Villa late on, through goals from Sadio Mane and Curtis Jones.

Brighton are pretty much clear of relegation after their recent upturn in form since the break – they have picked up seven points from four games, leaving them nine points clear of Aston Villa.

This is also the same amount of points picked up by Liverpool since the restart.

Liverpool will have a fully fit squad available for the trip, barring the injured Joel Matip who won’t feature for the rest of the campaign.

What team will Jurgen plump for? Let’s take a look at our predicted team.

Alisson Becker

The Brazilian has certainly shown the best and worst of his repertoire against The Seagulls.

From his second Anfield game, in which he confidently chipped over the oncoming Anthony Knockaert, to nearly gifting them a goal in the same match, to the aforementioned red card at Anfield earlier this season.

But the rock in Liverpool’s return has been Alisson – unquestionably against Everton and Aston Villa – helping the Red to three clean sheets out of four.

We gave him our man of the match against Villa – hopefully he won’t need to be called into action as often – but his concentration skills are so premium that even if he isn’t, he will be at an elite level of performance.
