Liverpool take on Burnley at Anfield.

This comes after an excellent midweek performance at The Amex Stadium, with Liverpool picking up another victory in their march to a century.

Mohamed Salah bagged a brace and Jordan Henderson scored a peach, but the overriding narrative for the skipper is that he will miss out on the remaining four games due to an injury picked up late on.

It was a consummate away performance though, seeing Liverpool need just eight points from their final four games to become the second ever Premier League centurions.

Their opponents, Burnley, have had an excellent return to life after lockdown, picking up ten points from five games.

The only game they lost was a 5-0 drubbing at Manchester City in the opener for the Clarets – but wins over Watford, West Ham and Crystal Palace have seen them as potentially shock European contenders – almost top half certs.

At Turf Moor, Liverpool ran away with a 3-0 win, with Trent Alexander-Arnold’s deflected cross looping Nick Pope, followed by goals from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

Here’s the predicted team for Saturday’s bout:

Alisson Becker

The Brazilian is yet to lose a game at Anfield for Liverpool – in 57 games. His only defeat came in a Roma shirt, in the Champions League Semi-Final of 2018.

Becker really brings a different element to his predecessors with his feet – he didn’t showcase this as much at the Amex.

He did make a crucial save from Neal Maupay on the half-time whistle, but barring that had little to do – which is what makes him so great.
