Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has provided injury news.

The Reds take on Arsenal on Wednesday night as they look to move three points closer to the century mark.

Liverpool have been in odd form since the restart, but struggled to beat Burnley and have combined scintillating with sad.

Jordan Henderson has been a big miss whenever he’s been out of action and Jurgen Klopp will need to find a way to win without the skipper. Tom Cavilla, for the official club website, wrote that Henderson will still be a miss.

Joel Matip isn’t ready to come back to first team action either, while James Milner is close to a return but the game in the week will come too early for him.

Chelsea away is a more realistic date, added Klopp.

Apart from that, Liverpool will have a full squad available to them. That could mean that Xherdan Shaqiri could get some rare minutes in the closing few games of the season.

Shaq made the squad for the 1-1 draw against Burnley, but wasn’t sent on even as Liverpool chased a win. Klopp decided to use just three substitutes.

Arsenal have got a few more out with injury as goalkeeper Bernd Leno, defenders Calum and Pablo Mari and forward Gabriel Martinelli are out for the game.

Young starlet Eddie Nketiah is suspended while Mesut Ozil is a doubt for the fixture – but Gunners’ boss Mikel Arteta doesn’t seem to fancy the German and his future looks to be in serious doubt.

Liverpool should be able to beat an Arsenal side who’ve had their struggles since the restart, even if Arteta has got them playing with some more authority over the last five or six games.

One threat that Klopp will have to watch out for is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. He’s scored 20 goals this season and will be fighting Mohamed Salah for the Golden Boot.
