Naby Keita leads our predicted line up as Liverpool play Chelsea.

Frank Lampard got the last laugh when these two sides clashed in the FA Cup, but things will be different now.

For a start, Adrian won’t be between the sticks and this game comes with Premier League importance. Liverpool won’t want to lose and walk up the podium to accept the top flight trophy having been defeated.

Jurgen Klopp is bound to select a strong side than he did last time, even if there are a few fringe players on the edge of that magical fifth league appearance.

We’ve seen more involvement for Curtis Jones and Neco Williams since the Premier League was confirmed, while Harvey Elliott has had to settle for a more passive role.

Chelsea will be feeling confident after beating Manchester United, but they could be coming into this game undercooked and overworked.

Jordan Henderson will miss the fixture because of injury, but that gives Naby Keita another chance to lead the midfield. There was a minor uproar when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was given the nod against Arsenal, and he didn’t really do much to inspire confidence in his ability.

The defence will essentially pick itself, as will the goalkeeper. So let’s crack on with this predicted line up without any more waffle.

Alisson

The Brazilian made a bad mistake to gift Arsenal their second goal last week, but will want to bounce back from that even stronger.

He knows he should have done better, and the stopper isn’t the sort of man to rest on his laurels. Alisson will want to set things right, and that should come against Chelsea.

At the very least he’ll be better than Adrian was last time out, right?
