Liverpool fear Mohamed Salah wants out after the Dejan Lovren exit.

This comes after comments the King made in an interview, reported Goal. Salah refused to confirm that his future lay with Liverpool, which has drawn speculation as to his next move.

"He said: “I just want to enjoy today and enjoy the moment! No-one knows the future and what will happen. Let’s see what will happen.“But at the moment we win the Champions League, we win the Premier League, I’m happy. Let’s see what will happen in the future, but I’m very happy to win and achieve those trophies.”"

After Paul Joyce confirmed Dejan Lovren will be leaving the club, some tongue-in-cheek supporters reckon this behaviour could be rooted in the defender’s exit.

Can Mo continue life at Anfield without one of his best mates?

After signing for just £35 million, the former Roma man has gone on to win the Champions League and the Premier League with Liverpool – but that hasn’t stopped persistent rumours about his future.

Real Madrid were mooted as a possible destination, and traditionally they’d be one of the only sides in the world who could afford to make such a massive deal.

With 23 goals this season and 94 in total, Mohamed Salah is one of the most elite forwards in the world and he’s absolutely crucial to Liverpool.

If the Egyptian left the club, it would create a massive vacuum in the squad and he’d be a player who they struggle to replace. His 41 assists from 151 games mark Mo out as someone who is creative as well.

It’s not just those goals and assists, it’s also the way he combines with fellow forwards Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. When Salah doesn’t play, Liverpool look far more limited and we’ve seen that happen this season.

Xherdan Shaqiri, Takumi Minamino and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been trialled in the inside right role but neither of them have impressed. Shaqiri is the most naturally suited to that position, but his injury problems have been almost as big as his calves and that’s held him back this season.

Hopefully his words don’t mean as much as what Liverpool are taking from them, but some reassurances from the star would be nice!
