Liverpool fans are disgusted at the latest Rhian Brewster loan news.
Journalist Graeme Bailey tweeted out some fresh information about the starlet’s future, and it’s safe to say that some supporters aren’t happy.
After scoring three goals in two preseason games, there had been a hope that Jurgen Klopp would find a place in the side for the forward.
If Bailey’s information is anything to go by, those hopes are misplaced.
Rhian Brewster hit the back of the net 11 times in 22 games for Swansea City in the Championship and that put his name firmly on the radar of Premier League sides looking for some extra support up top.
One of those could be Sheffield United, who took Ben Woodburn on loan in 2018. That move was a disaster and the Welsh international returned to Melwood in October.
We’d hope for better things from the Brewster link-up.
Concerns seem to revolve around Wilder’s style of play and how he treated Woodburn during the opening stages of that loan spell.

As a possible destination, United certainly tick a few boxes. They are expected to avoid any serious struggle against relegation, they have a stable manager and set of tactics and they need help in the forward line.
Their top scorer was Ollie McBurnie with six, while Lys Mousset grabbed the same number. McBurnie was signed from Swansea after hitting 22 goals in his final Championship season, and his struggles should be seen as fair warning to Brewster that the Premier League is a different beast.
Is there a guarantee that Brewster would get minutes? David McGoldrick played nearly 2,000 minutes but he is currently 31-years-old and plays more as a link-up forward and only scored twice.
Billy Sharp is 33 and made 25 appearances, but he’s a club legend with nearly 300 games for the Blades and it’s unlikely Wilder will want to lose his experience and dressing room presence.
There’s a lot to like about his link, but also a fair amount to dislike. With a player as talented as Rhian Brewster is, you can be sure Liverpool will ask all the right questions before sending him on loan.
