Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson
Trent Alexander-Arnold missed Liverpool’s friendlies against Vfb Stuttgart and Red Bull Salzburg due to a minor knock but he could make the XI. However, it won’t be a surprise if Klopp omits him from the lineup as a precaution and starts Neco Williams who received some first-team opportunities during the end of 2018/19.
Andy Robertson will undoubtedly start at left-back and will be eager to aid Liverpool defensively and offensively.
Virgil van Dijk sustained a cut to his eye during the friendly against Salzburg but Klopp said that it was nothing serious. Hence, he’ll manage to get a start on Saturday and will most likely be wearing the captain’s armband. The Dutchman will be expected to give the Arsenal attackers a hard time.
Given that Joel Matip is yet to fully recover from the injury he sustained against Everton, we’ll once again see Joe Gomez partnering Van Dijk.
