Liverpool’s predicted lineup for the Community Shield: Naby Keita starts

Liverpool will be without their captain Jordan Henderson, who is yet to fully recover from the knock he sustained in the match against Brighton where he scored a fine long-range goal. This gives the perfect opportunity for Naby Keita to start.

The Guinean international missed a great chunk of last season due to injuries but he had some good games when fit, especially during the end when he scored a fine goal against Chelsea. He also managed to find the net in Austria against Stuttgart.

Keita is the one Liverpool midfielder who is capable of being very creative and we’d love to see more of him in the upcoming season.

Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum will start as usual on Saturday but it won’t be much of a surprise if Klopp includes James Milner in the playing XI, in which case he’ll be captaining the team.
