Liverpool predicted lineup vs Leeds: Gini, Matip OUT

Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson

All of the aforementioned players featured for their respective national teams with Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson captaining their sides in both Nations League fixtures. The former saw Netherlands being beaten 0-1 by Italy while the latter helped Scotland beat Czech Republic in the their backyard.

Both Van Dijk and Robertson have been in fine form lately and they’ll be starting in their respective positions on Saturday.

Trent Alexander-Arnold missed the Community Shield due to an injury issue but he seems fit now given that he started for England in their Nations League encounter against Denmark.

The 21-year-old will most likely start on Saturday and he’ll be eager to try and register an assist or two against Leeds.

Joe Gomez will most likely partner Van Dijk in central defence but it won’t be much of a shock if Klopp starts Joel Matip ahead of the England international.
