There’s little doubt that Liverpool’s famed front three will take the field against Leeds on Saturday. Mohamed Salah was the top scorer for the Reds last season but didn’t look at his very best in the Community Shield and the pre-season friendlies.
The Egyptian forward will be eager to fire on all cylinders and have a good start to the Premier League. Sadio Mane was the only Liverpool attacker who found a place in the PFA Team of the Year and he’ll be looking to have a much better season than he did in 2019/20.
Roberto Firmino didn’t have the best of seasons as far as goalscoring was concerned but he did fairly well in the pre-season friendlies. The Brazilian will be eager to get off to a good start in the Premier League this season.
