Liverpool lineup vs Chelsea: Joe Gomez in, Naby Keita out
Salah, Mane Firmino
As in most matches since the start of the 2017/18 season, Liverpool’s famed front three will start against Chelsea. Mohamed Salah was the Reds’ hero against Leeds as he scored a hat-trick to guide them to a win.
The Egyptian international has had a good start to this season and will be eager to find the net against his former team.
When Liverpool took on Chelsea for the first time last season, Sadio Mane scored both of their goals in the UEFA Super Cup. The Senegalese winger will be looking to give Lampard’s defenders a tough time and open his scoring account for 2020/21.
Last season, Roberto Firmino scored in both of his team’s league fixtures against Chelsea and he could be aiming to do the same this weekend while also trying to create scoring opportunities for Salah and Mane.
