Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson will undoubtedly start in their respective full-back positions on Monday. The duo will be eager to put in a strong performance and try to get in an assist or two.

Virgil van Dijk will definitely start in central defence and will be looking to command the backline with aplomb. Jurgen Klopp told Liverpool’s official website that Joe Gomez is back from injury and the England international will most likely partner the Dutchman at the heart of defence.

The Liverpool backline will be keen on getting the better of the Arsenal attackers and there’s little doubt that the likes of Aubameyang and Lacazette will find it tough to get past them.

Gomez will need to play well to win over some sections of support who feel that his positioning can get a little lazy at times. He didn’t have a great game against Leeds, while Fabinho impressed against Chelsea.

The England international might not have any direct competition at the moment, but Fab has shown he’s more than capable of slotting in at centre-half.
