Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Keita

Klopp said that Jordan Henderson is ruled out of Monday’s fixture due to the knock he sustained against Chelsea. It will be sad to see the Liverpool skipper miss the fixture and we can hope for him to be back for the next league game against Aston Villa next weekend.

With Gomez back, there’s a very good chance that Fabinho will be starting in midfield. The Brazilian excelled at centre-back against Chelsea and will be keen on doing well against Arsenal too.

Here, he can be put to use stopping attacks before they become dangerous and will seek to cut off the passing lanes to Auba and whoever else plays in the forward line with him.

Georginio Wijnaldum will also be featuring on Monday and the Dutchman will be expected to aid Liverpool defensively and offensively. He goes about his business quietly and will be one of the generals on the field.

His contract expiring at the end of the season won’t stop Klopp from using Gini as much as possible and you’d expect him to continue being an important member of the side.

Given the possibility of Thiago missing out, the third midfield position will most likely to Naby Keita. However, it won’t be much of a surprise if the Guinean international is replaced by the former Bayern Munich midfielder.
