Liverpool player ratings: Substitutes

. JAMES MILNER. 6. .

The usual steady of the ship from James Milner with 15 minutes to go.

There is clearly a reason why Jurgen Klopp relies on the veteran to see games through, and I hardly recall any real chances Arsenal had since Milner arrived on the field.

He will start on Thursday.

DIOGO JOTA. 7.5. . .

Jota could have had three. Should have had two. But he got one.

After missing his first real opportunity, and seeing Salah steal his other one, his heart must have been racing when the ball dropped to him from the cleared cross.

But he controlled, finished and celebrated – he secured the win for Liverpool and Diogo, we hope it is the first of many.

TAKUMI MINAMINO. N/A. . .

Brought on for Roberto Firmino with just two minutes to go. Ran around a bit, as per usual. He’s alive and ready for a run-out on Thursday.
