Left-central midfield: Gini Wijnaldum

Gini Wijnaldum is an absolute machine, and when he’s fit, he plays. The Dutchman has played an incredible amount of minutes but seems like he can’t be stopped.

Wijnaldum does everyone that Klopp asked of him incredibly well and can get forward when required.

Defensive midfield: Jordan Henderson

Jordan Henderson only played 45 minutes against Ajax and that means he should be fit and ready to go against the Blades. He’ll be required to sit at the best of midfield in order to allow Fabinho to play at the back, especially if Thiago isn’t available.

Hendo is our skipper and provides the level of drive and leadership that this side really needs. We’ve gone a little flat without the ex-Sunderland man in the side and he helps to keep levels high.

Right-central midfield: Naby Keita

Keita is another one who missed out on the Champions League game as he was withdrawn from the squad due to a precaution.

The Guinea international has been an important part of the Premier League side this season and should get another chance to impress due to the injury to Thiago and Fabinho moving out of midfield.

But he’s also a good player. Keita can break the lines but he’s also an intelligent footballer who offers more than just power.
