Left-sided forward: Diogo Jota

If Klopp goes for a 4-2-3-1 formation, then it gives a chance for Diogo Jota to start. The Portuguese international has had a good start to his Liverpool career and he’ll be looking to put in an impressive performance if he is the playing XI. He was on the right wing against Sheffield United and went on to score the winner. However, for Tuesday’s fixture, I’m expecting Klopp to start him on the left wing.

Centre-forward: Sadio Mane

Sadio Mane will probably start as a centre-forward. That said, there’s a chance of us seeing the formation Klopp used against United which was Mane on the left, Jota on the right and Salah in the middle.

Right-sided forward: Mohamed Salah

On the right wing, it’ll be Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian has netted six goals in nine appearances this season so far and will be eager to increase that tally against Midtjylland.

Next. The 'next Mohamed Salah' is in Klopp's grasp. dark

Given that the opponents aren’t the strongest, there’s also the possibility of the likes of Minamino and Shaqiri starting. Provided Klopp goes for a 4-3-3, then Firmino will start as the centre-forward with Salah and Mane on the wings.
