Liverpool head to Bergamo to play Atalanta on Tuesday night.

Read our predicted lineup as Jurgen Klopp will try to take three points from the Serie A side, who came from behind to draw 2-2 with Ajax last week.

Liverpool are in some sort of form following their 2-1 win over West Ham this weekend. The Hammers took the lead but Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah rescued all three points to keep their good run going.

The Reds don’t play again for five days and will have a little bit of a rest after the Tuesday night fixture. Could that mean Klopp will select a full strength side? There are some snippets of good fitness news and we could see some of the walking wounded return to the pitch.

Liverpool are the only side in the Champions League to have kept a clean sheet in their first two games but they’ll be tested against Atalanta. The Italians have already scored 17 goals in six league games and the Reds might be forced to field a teenager at centre-back.

With maximum points collected, the Reds could open up a comfortable buffer between themselves and Atalanta – who are expected to qualify from this group at the expense of Ajax and Midtjylland.

One man who will be key to these efforts is the goalkeeper Alisson, so let’s kick off our predicted Liverpool lineup with the beautiful Brazilian.

Goalkeeper – Alisson

We’re all glad that Adrian is nowhere near this European night. With the best goalkeeper in the world between the sticks, confidence will be high and another clean sheet could be on the cards.

Alejandro Gómez, Luis Muriel and Duván Zapata will be looking to ruin things, but they haven’t faced a goalkeeper like this before.
